Changelog allows users to easily keep track of every change made to dashboards, offering clearer insights, and improving team collaboration. Whether you're collaborating through View-Only Dashboards or managing your own private ones, Changelog helps you easily monitor modifications to your dashboard searches.
What are the benefits?
Full search visibility - Instantly gain insights into the “what,” “when,” and “who” behind any search modifications on your dashboard.
Clear visual indicators - Quickly identify changes with color-coded highlights that compare current and previous search states, making it easy to understand the impact of modifications.
Simplified navigation - Find recently updated dashboards faster with the new Last Modified sorting option, streamlining your workflow and ensuring you never miss an update.
How does it work?
The Changelog feature is live for all Spike users and can be accessed from the ‘More’ menu inside each dashboard. A panel will appear from the right-hand side displaying a before and after list of all modifications made to searches within the dashboard.
These include search creation, renaming, deletion, updates to search filters, keyword strings, keyword blocks, sources, categories, languages, or locations. They will also display which user has made these changes with a time and date stamp.
A blue dot on the homepage highlights any unseen changes, helping you stay on top of potentially impactful modifications.
