We’re excited to introduce Enhanced Search and the Keyword Assistant, a new experience that makes it easier to build high-quality searches and uncover more complete results in less time.
What are the benefits?
A simpler, more intuitive search setup
Enhanced Search separates Keywords and Sources into their own inputs, and only shows network-specific options when they are relevant. This keeps setup clean and focused so you can get to insights faster.
Faster keyword building with AI
Keyword Assistant can expand your idea into a complete, ready-to-save query in seconds, including brand variations, topic vocabulary, and multi-language options where appropriate. You can add the output directly to your search, then refine as needed.
Better results, less rework
With clearer inputs and stronger starting queries, your searches surface more of what matters and reduce trial-and-error time.
How does Enhanced Search work? What has changed?
Separate inputs for Keywords and Sources. You’ll now see two distinct fields so you can define what you are looking for and where to look, independently.
- Contextual keyword options. Filters like Headline/Summary/Full Article and Reddit appear within Search Keywords or URLs only when relevant.
- “Group Similar Articles” moved. This is now available in the options section of the Web Articles widget.
- Backwards compatible. All of your existing searches continue to work and display correctly in the new interface. No changes required.
How does Keyword Assistant work?
What is it?
An AI helper that turns your short description into a complete, high-quality Boolean keyword query you can add to your search with one click.
Where do I find it?
Open a new search, click in the Keywords or URLs input field, and choose Keyword Assistant to open the input box with a guide to help you. When ready, click Add to Search to insert the generated query.
You will not see the feature if your organziation has opted out of AI features or if your current search already contains one or more Keyword Blocks.
Use cases
Brand searches. Clarity and confidence when searching for brand names with common or many variations such as Visa, Shell, or Apple.
Topic searches. Easily expands and captures the broader vocabulary available for issues such as climate change, data breaches, or political policies.
Translations. Instantly generate worldwide coverage in multiple languages, for example “water pollution in English and Portuguese” or “AI in English and Japanese.”
Tips for best results
- Start with a clear description of the topic or brand you care about. "Honda Motor Company"

- If needed, remove from your search. "Exclude reference to Elon Musk or Tesla"
- Continue to tweak manually after inserting if needed.
- Copy the search and create a Keyword Block if you feel it is an evergreen keyword for a brand or topic.
Questions and answers
Q: Will my existing searches work with this new search?
Yes. Your saved searches continue to work normally in the enhanced interface.

Yes. After you add the generated query to your search, you can edit it like any other query. You can also ask the assistant to build on what it created with a short follow-up instruction.

Yes, the assistant will ask you to modify your request and try again if the input is too vague.
Q: Can I use the Keyword Assistant while creating a Keyword Block?
No, not currently. However, you could generate a query then copy and paste it into a new Keyword Block.
