Location & Topic Filters

Filters

There are a lot of levers you can pull in Spike to find the content you are looking for. You can refine your search using the filters you find on the left of our Search page.

Location Filters

Use location to filter down to content published from a particular location. 

All articles are categorized according to the location where the publisher is based. In the case of worldwide publishers (i.e. BBC Middle East) articles are categorized based on the location that the content is about. 

Topic Filters

Topics are the subject and niche filters available in Spike. We cover subjects from Culture to Commodities, Gossip to Gold.

Topics with arrows alongside them can be expanded to display further subtopics. 

You can select multiple topics and combine them with locations and keywords.
